Hiking or snowshoeing
The heights of the canton of Neuchâtel offer numerous possibilities for nature lovers to go walking or snowshoeing.
Starting points:
- La Tourne (access by car, 20 minutes): a lovely family walk of 2km (round trip) which leads to the Rochers de Tablettes. Stunning view of the lake and the Alps.
- La Vue-des-Alpes (access by car, 15 minutes): departure of several marked hiking and snowshoeing trails (trail map).
- La Robella (accessible by train to Buttes, free with the TouristCard, or by car, 40 minutes): snowshoe hire available from the chairlift, various itineraries for all levels, possibility of going up and down by chairlift (trail map).
